Everyone would expect a Florida girl living in NYC to want to get married at the beach...Believe me, I am happiest in flip flops and on a boat...We considered the islands but everything about Vermont feels right. We like to take weekends in Vermont at different bed and breakfasts or at a wonderful little resort. Our weekends there have been a true escape from the city--we are able to relax and reconnect. We love a good road trip--and then days filled with scrabble.. golf or snowshoeing...bike ride(while J runs)...exploring the area and the little shops...sitting by the fire, eating Vermont cheese and drinking champagne. Happy Times. And so it just feels right to get married there. After driving up and down the state and looking at every barn imaginable we fell in love with Riverside Farm instantly. Lucky for us that they matched our enthusiasm for the unique and helped plan a weekend just as we envisioned it from a Friday adventure race for the boys (pre rehearsal dinner) to a crystal chandelier draped barn that I had dreamed of it was perfect. Take a look at our weekend of activities below and the first shots of the amazing weekend here:

Adventure Race
In keeping with Jonathan's spirit for adventure, he has decided to give the boys a little challenge (see Adventure Race). Girls--we could go on a nice hike and then watch the end of this crazy race. Or see Activities for other options.

Breakfast
THE PITTSFIELD GENERAL STORE...we know everyone will have to get on the road or catch a plane...but we would like a meeting place to say "thank you for coming" and shed a tear or two when we say goodbye....
