Jenny & Bryan’s Wedding: Blue Skies and Sunflowers – An August Wedding

August 16, 2010
Jenny & Bryan – Middlebury, VT (August)
Yes, I love my job:)
We just finished hosting another Gorgeous wedding this past weekend and we are thoroughly smug and can’t stop smiling. Jenny and Bryan – you are a very special couple and you guys know how to throw an amazing party! Bryan grew up in Middlebury, Vermont while Jenny went to college there…. they fell in love and decided to invite friends and family from all over the world (as far away as Spain) to this little country farm in the green mountains for a weekend they won’t soon forget. The weather was warm, the guests were so enthusiastic. the toasts and vows were emotional and and full of love and the entire weekend was just a total blast. We are still smiling.

August 13th 2010 Friday Night Welcome Party… sunny and warm with bright blue skies

Outside of the Red Barn, these picnic tables looked like a Martha Stewart photo shoot with sunflowers in fun glass vases…so simple and perfectly Vermont. As the guests arrived on Friday night. they walked across the beautiful green meadow and to the bluestone patio outside the Red Barn. As the sun went down, the lanterns were lit and the torches too. After having some cocktails on the patio all the guests were invited inside for an intimate dinner (a Spanish-Tapas themed menu). And later, the fire pit was the ideal spot for roasting marshmallows and stargazing.  What a great way to start the wedding weekend!

More pictures to come…
